1. 100% Free-to-Play Entertainment Declaration

Neighday is a social racing simulator and parimutuel entertainment platform. Under the United States Legal Triad of Gambling (Consideration, Chance, Prize), gambling only exists when all three elements are simultaneously present:

Races are governed by deterministic 32-bit fixed-point physics and biomechanical handicapping data (stamina, pace style, track condition).

Virtual chips and winnings possess ZERO real-world cash value. There are strictly NO CASH-OUTS, NO WITHDRAWALS, AND NO PRIZE REDEMPTIONS under any circumstances.

Because the element of "Prize" has been permanently eliminated from the core platform, Neighday does not constitute gambling under US Federal Law (UIGEA, 31 U.S.C. § 5361), UK Gambling Commission regulations, or Australian interactive gaming laws.

4. Provably Fair Cryptographic Guarantees

Every race outcome is deterministic and cryptographically locked prior to wagering opening:

Pre-Bet SHA-256 Seed Commit: The server computes the hash of the upcoming race seed and publishes it to the client before any bets are accepted.
External Drand Beacon: At gate opening, an unguessable public entropy beacon from Cloudflare / Drand is combined with the server seed.
Zero Admin Tampering: Even platform administrators have zero ability to alter race outcomes or favor specific runners.
